Overview

We are looking for an experienced candidate to lead and elevate the standardized use of Blue Yonder (JDA) space planning software for category management across all Breakthru markets. This position will be responsible for management of the shared space planning product library, process development, skills training, project management and advancing the overall strategy for space planning effectiveness.

This position can be based out of any state that Breakthru Beverage operates in.



Responsibilities

    Space Planning Strategy
    • Partner with stakeholders to collaborate on space planning requirements across markets and customers
    • Analyze ways of working and develop standardized solutions that improve capabilities & efficiencies
    • Act as team lead and technical expert on software, aligning technical requirements to business needs and staying up to date on technology and market trends
    • Develop vision and strategic roadmap to desired future state, assessing various solution options
  1. Database Management
    • Oversee management of shared product libraries & image databases to support space planning
    • Leverage data from multiple sources to update and maintain shared databases
    • Analyze upstream and downstream workflows and optimize functionality for users
  2. Process Development & Execution
    • Maintain documentation for all standardized space planning practices including software setup, use of tools & capabilities, and data management to support alignment and consistency
    • Translate complex ideas and processes into accessible formats that can be leveraged by downstream users to support improved execution, efficiency, and value creation
  3. Training & Development
    • Lead training on standardized space planning tools & processes across markets
    • Host regular training sessions, one on one support, troubleshooting and process documentation to support skill development and alignment to standardized processes
    • Partner with internal and external resources to develop training strategies & platforms
  4. Project management
    • Support complex cross functional projects by scoping and phasing work to meet project timelines
    • Collaborate on multi-market retail projects to consult and leverage standardized ways of working
    • Develop benchmark sets to support key retail concepts and maintain supplier shelf standards
  5. Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder's supervisor, may also be required


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experience
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in the beverage alcohol and/or CPG industry
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in space planning with strong technical Blue Yonder (JDA) software experience
  • Strong systems expertise in Excel, Access, Power Pivot/Query, and PowerBI
  • Expertise in database management, relational databases and sound data management practices
  • Expert PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation software
  • Experience using Microsoft Sharepoint, Teams and OneDrive preferred
  • Must be a results-oriented professional with strong verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skills
  • Strong project management skills with ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines
  • Utilize sound judgement and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field

Physical Requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone
