Job Summary and Mission

The eCommerce Category Management Sr. Analyst plays a vital role on the cross-functional eCommerce team. The team's purpose is to accelerate NCP eCommerce growth and share by identifying and executing strategic opportunities with customers. The Sr. Analyst will support this objective by optimizing reporting and business diagnostics, turning data and shopper insights into action, and by providing strategic eCommerce guidance for our field teams.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

Data and Analytics

  • Proactively leverage data and insights to understand the Online category landscape, identify business drivers and provide solution recommendations
  • Be a subject matter expert for all Omni data and insight capabilities, knowing how to leverage each to their fullest extent to answer key business questions
  • Collaborate with field teams and broader NUSA to ensure Online data and reporting accuracy
  • Size eCommerce category opportunities and initiatives through advanced analytics
  • Regularly measure and report category share results/gaps and provide recommendations
  • Develop process for post-analytics to quantify and prioritize eCommerce strategies
  • Focus on continuous improvement in how we assess and understand the digital landscape

Field Team & Retailer Engagement

  • Provide tactical direction for field teams on how to win the digital shelf, rooting guidance in shopper insights and business impact
  • Enable execution against digital shelf priorities by providing new and relevant insights and resources to leverage with retailers
  • Partner with field teams on strategic projects and customer presentations, enabling NCP to build credibility and influence as the digital authority
  • Develop tools and processes for field teams to track digital progress and initiatives at their retailers
  • Regularly connect with field counterparts to stay attune to performance gaps and business needs and to bubble up opportunities

Forward-Looking Strategy

  • Gather industry eCommerce best practices and benchmark NCP to other leading CPGs
  • Stay connected with NUSA eCommerce counterparts to share learnings
  • Stay attune to new capabilities in-market to flag competitive edge opportunities
  • Collaborate with Market Analytics to plan and deliver shopper insights projects

Qualification/Certifications

  • University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and minimum 3 years of related work experience
  • Category management or business analytics role preferred
  • eCommerce experience preferred
  • Strong technical skills and expertise with advanced analytics
  • Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Analyst experience with IRI and/or other syndicated data

Theapproximate payrange for this position is $97,000 to $120,000.Please note that thepay rangeprovided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
