KPMG is currently seeking a Project Manager to join our Operations team.

Responsibilities:

  • Be accountable for project and program management in support of Administrative and Office Experience (AOE) strategic priorities and initiatives, with overall responsibility for the successful planning, tracking and execution of multiple, simultaneous, small-to-medium complexity projects or programs
  • Collaborate with internal customers and teams to develop and maintain project and/or program artifacts, such as scope, approach, solution, plan, resources, estimates, and so on; develop, track, and manage project forecasts and costs; request budget allocation and reallocations; ensure project and/or program is within budget; adhere and contribute to project management standards and processes, including tools and reporting
  • Facilitate team meetings, publish meeting notes, and action items, follow up with team members, update project documents and systems, ensure timely completion of action items; communicate project status and be the project advocate; take responsibility for proactive risk and issue management; ensure mitigating strategies or contingencies are appropriately applied to anticipated risks and issues
  • Establish positive and collaborative relationships with customers and demonstrate a clear understanding of both internal and external customer requirements and success criteria; integrate and align with other departmental processes and solutions
  • Participate in and facilitate post project/phase reviews to cultivate a learning organization; identify, manage, and control changes to scope
  • Work jointly with internal customers and appropriate teams on behavioral change management plan to ensure user adoption of new systems and processes; mentor and train less experienced team members on standards, processes, and tools

Qualifications:

  • Minimum five years of recent experience with project management required, with strong knowledge of industry best practices; subject matter expertise related to office and administrative services preferred
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or relevant experience
  • Ability to manage three medium risk projects and/or one program of small to medium complexity projects concurrently, including multi-phase, multi-track projects with up to thirty project team members
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills, with ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority
  • Must be able to prioritize, delegate and foster the development of high-performing teams to lead/support an environment driven by customer service and teamwork
  • Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously; ability to participate in resource planning processes based on defined organizational plans

Los Angeles / Seattle Salary Range: Low: $94700 - High: $173500

San Jose / Santa Clara / San Francisco Salary Range: Low: $105000 - High: $192400

Sacramento / San Diego Salary Range: Low: $90400 - High: $165600

Albany Salary Range: Low: $86100 - High: $157700
