Job Summary:

The Senior Director eCommerce leads our talented eCommerce team in a significant, dynamic and growing omnichannel ecosystem, driving business results through our digital platforms, including the Nespresso.com, Nespresso App, e-retailers and e-marketplaces. As Senior Director eCommerce you will be responsible for designing, building and managing a holistic eCommerce strategy and organization to accelerate Nespresso's online (direct & indirect) business in the short and long term. This pivotal and influential role will require strong senior stakeholder management, great collaboration and organizational leadership to implement and execute strategy, plus agility in an ever-evolving competitive / consumer landscape.
We are looking for an inclusive eCommerce leader who has a track record of delivering results, will inspire an organization and loves to build for the future to deliver our vision. This role will work a Hybrid (blend of in office/at home) schedule at our office in New York City.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Visioning & Organizational Design
* Develop holistic eCommerce strategic blueprint across DTC, Pure Players & eRetailers, with key focus on: product assortment, content / merchandising, acquisition (including promos) and conversion (to Nespresso Club or other capsule channel).
* Design and deployment of eCommerce organizational structure to enable rapid and agile execution of holistic strategy.
Sales Performance & Operations
* Deliver against our commercial objectives in a sustainable & profitable way.
* Own eCommerce forecasts and actuals across Direct, Pure Player & Click & Mortar accounts for machine sell-out, capsules and New Members. Regularly provide insights and analysis on variances.
* Design and execute the eCommerce promotion and activation calendar in partnership with broader Trade team and CRM.
* Manage and optimize substantial performance marketing budget.
* Collaborate with Machine Partners to ensure seamless execution of machine sell-in plans.
Nespresso.com eCommerce Strategy & Management
* Lead and manage team responsible for the Nespresso.com business & experience, including desktop, mobile site and mobile app. Work closely in collaboration with HQ eCommerce team to ensure productive partnership.
* Team led by User Experience Manager (who manages 2-3 Webmasters /web designers) to ensures all work is properly scheduled and deployed, including new features & services and overall site updates.
* Site content & merchandising strategy informed by analytics and business strategy.
* Website and business analytics to deeply understand consumer behavior, site opportunities and areas of optimization.
* Collaborate closely with Brand, CRM and Comms teams to ensure digital experience across key product launches and campaigns is delivering against DF.
Amazon & Pure Players
* Lead and manage team responsible for the Amazon business & experience as well as other eCommerce Pure Players. Team will focus on both machines and capsules, including Retail and Marketplace RTM.
* Primary point of contact for AMZ Global and Nestle Global eCommerce / GAAT teams on all AMZ partnership criteria and agreements.
* Site content / merchandising strategies (product pages, ratings & reviews, etc.) informed by analytics and brand strategy.
* Site, business and category analytics to inform strategic optimizations.
* Media activities aligned with key merchandising plans and Retail activations, deployed and manage by Performance Media team.
Click & Mortar Strategy & Support
* Lead & manage team responsible for supporting all legacy / Click & Mortar KAM teams on Omni-Channel strategy and execution to align with holistic eCommerce vision.
* Leverage best practices across Content / Merchandising, Analytics and Demand Generation to ensure efficiency of execution and avoid redundancy of targeting / activation.
Performance Marketing: Acquisition & Retention
* Develop Media Center of Excellence to drive full-funnel media campaigns to deliver measurable brand and business results.
* Own and manage Marketing / Advertising Tech Stack strategy and solution implementation across IS/IT, HQ, DSU and external agency partners.
* Work closely with Insights & Analytics team to leverage multi-touch attribution tool to inform media investment amounts and ratios.
* Collaborate with CRM / Brand / Comms teams on consumer journey building and people / identity based touchpoint planning.
Develops People and Organization:
* Recruit, develop, motivate and manage a team to deliver superior performance and results.
* Manage and comply with the HR and Line Manager's Planning Cycle.
* Support the development and evolution of the eCommerce function in the Market / Region.
* Ensure local eBusiness functions training capabilities.
* Ensure the market's awareness on all-things-eCommerce by building specific local initiatives and by leveraging available trainings.

Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree Required, Graduate Degree Preferred.
* 15+ Years in Digital / eCommerce roles at Brand or Agency required with Direct to Consumer experience a must. Experience of working in global, matrix organisations is preferable.
* Strategic thinker understanding both short and long term business consequences of all decisions.
* 4 + years experience in leading/managing a team required with evidence of capability growth preferable.
* Analytical experience to assess and prioritize budgets.

Theapproximate payrange for this position is $210,000 to $240,000.Please note that thepay rangeprovided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
