As a Senior Software Engineer on the Workflow Automation team, you will help to build the next generation of workflow automation platform for our customers. Your goal: build the systems and user experiences that allow our customers to automate their work using ShareFile and enable robust vertical solutions for accounting, financial and other industries.

Role Overview:

Now, let's get to the details. This role will act as a technical leader on their team with a focus on workflow automation for vertical solutions across all portfolio products. Role require to be in the ShareFile office in Raleigh, NC.

This includes:




  • Strategy


    • Trusted Advisor: As a senior engineer in the Workflow Automation area, the team will be looking to you to design and build systems that enables our customers to automate business processes inside ShareFile.

    • Building the Right Things: Work with stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure that they have the systems and behaviors in place when they need them.

    • Subject Matter Expert (SME): Serve as an SME for features owned by the Workflow Automation team.



  • Execution


    • Technical Excellence: Drive high-quality design and implementation of systems and user experiences.

    • Leadership: Act as a mentor for junior members of the Workflow Automation team.

    • Stakeholder Engagement: Contribute to regular engagements with critical cross-functional stakeholders such as other engineering teams, product design, product management, marketing, and operations.





Your Superhero Uniform Includes:



  • 5+ years of relevant experience developing software in a team environment.
  • Strong experience in modern web frameworks (React, Angular or Vue).
  • Strong experience in developing and deploying cloud-native scalable and resilient event-driven and API-based microservices using Node.js or .Net stack on AWS or Azure.
  • Demonstrated history of providing high-quality solutions to complex technical challenges.
  • An ability to receive ambiguous requirements and work with stakeholders to refine them into clear and concise ones that others on your team can execute against.



Your Superhero Strengths Include:



  • Experience building workflow automation services for SaaS solutions.
  • Experience in serverless technologies, such as AWS Lambda.
  • Startup mindset - highly passionate, team player, high sense of urgency, willingness to roll up sleeves and ability to deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced business.
  • Lens for continuous optimization, automation to drive efficiency, scale, and accuracy.
