The Role

Leads a diverse team of skillsets in an operational environment at both Lumen and customer locations located in Northern Virginia. The team executes multiple simultaneous activities in project management (technical and non-technical), network deployments, and infrastructure deployment with heavy reliance on Supply Chain and Logistics.

The Main Responsibilities

Deliver on all program requirements including technical solutions, cost, schedule, and quality performance with direct responsibility for profit and loss.
Drive successful service delivery across all program areas and monitor the program to ensure it follows a well-defined and detailed work scope, schedule, and budget.
Integrate various activities and task areas to ensure effective client and mission support.
Manage a team comprised of Project Managers, Engineers, Technicians and Supply Chain personnel to ensure the success and implementation of overall program objectives.
Recommend changes to improve processes and alleviate process inaccuracy and duplication.
Ensure conformity to contractual obligations; establish and maintain technical and financial reports to show program status and progress.
Ensure appropriate management, customer and supplier involvement throughout the life of the program. Manage resources across projects, and maintain/track contract deliverables, schedule, and budget.
Formulate and enforce work standards, subcontractor management and performance, and customer satisfaction and alignment of these with the objectives of the program and its mission.

Education
Education Level: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Field of Study: Program / Project Management, Business, Technical Operations
Desired Certifications
PMP / PgMP / ITIL / ISO20000

Other Job Requirements

TS / SCI with Poly is required.
7-9 years as a Program/Project Manager with increasing responsibility, preferably with contract experience.
Excellent briefing, writing, communication, administrative and organizational skills.
Must demonstrate ability to lead, take initiative and to work independently in an operational environment.
Experience managing a team of diverse skillsets.
