Warehouse Material Handler - 2nd Shift

Shift: 2nd - Monday-Thursday 3:15pm-1:15am

Pay: Grade 3 20.02 + 1.50 Shift Differential

Purpose: Responsible for material handling.

Essential Functions:

  • Forklift operation.
  • Move materials within the department and to other departments.
  • Assist co-workers with department processes; stage parts inside and outside based on production build schedule.
  • Cycle count parts as required.
  • Department inventory control and reconciliation of inventory records.
  • Use handheld device and computer systems to complete transactions.
  • Manage assembly schedule and update flow board.
  • Control correct tagging and labeling of parts.
  • Remove cardboard and wood from plant, maintain clean and organized area.
  • Complies with all safety, DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Uses all designated Personal Protective Equipment as required.
  • Support the receiving function as needed.
  • Organize and consolidate items to maximize space and increase efficiency.

Qualifications: Combination of education and experience, generally acquired through the attainment of a high school diploma or equivalent and prior experience reading prints and assembling products.
