These are just a few of the attributes we are looking for in a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. In this role you will perform a wide range of logistical, administrative and project execution duties within a framework set by the human resource department. Our TA Specialists plans, coordinates and manages logistics of talent acquisition candidates and new hires.
Responsibilities
- Actively participates and provides project management support to talent acquisition and human resources projects including but not limited to candidate experience, onboarding, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Coordinate and manage meeting logistics for candidate interviews, new hires and talent acquisition meetings as needed including but limited to candidate communication, travel arrangements, interview materials, and interview panel participation.
- Under supervision, manages elements and provides support for Talent Acquisition projects including the maintenance of related resources and RGA Connect sites.
- Assist talent acquisition team in managing internal and external job postings and conduct regular searches where assigned. Enter and maintain integrity of data in ATS and HCM database and produce ad hoc recruiting reports as necessary.
- Manage process connected with new hires including verification within required government systems (i.e. e-Verify). Participates in scheduled and ad hoc audits to ensure the consistency and accuracy of data.
- Manage the pre-employment process by running background checks and acting as liaison between candidates and recruiters.
- Assists in the development and implementation of tools such as creating SharePoint sites, web-tools and utilizing a variety of technology to support the objectives of the HR function.
- Screen and route resumes and respond to email and phone inquiries directed to the function
- Prepare offer letters for internal and external candidates and complete TA process for candidate onboarding.
- Proctor applicant assessments
- Support the process to place contingent labor in accordance with departmental requests and provides related notices and reports as required.
- Identifies and participates in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Interfaces frequently with associates and responds to associate questions, triaging to appropriate TA Partner
Requirements
Education & Experience
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in Human Resources with demonstrated experience in multi-faceted responsibilities or
- 1+ year experience supporting Recruiting
Preferred:
- 4+ years of experience in Human Resources
- 2 - 4 years project coordination experience
- Experience working with ATS (Talentlink) and HCM (Workday)
- Experience in insurance/reinsurance industry

State of Colorado: This information is provided per the Colorado Equal Pay Act [other ordinance or source]. The pay range for this position in Colorado is $53,100 - $75,000 per year. Base pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and market location. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan.
