What you will be doing Responsible for providing business operations support focused on patient access to client's specified products through interaction with the client's field sales team and customers related to business operations within a specific site of care. The Business Operations Specialist - Innovative Field Solutions may also serve a lead operations role supporting client engagement with data and analytics and/or other operational processes (e.g., business review coordination and management, training, staff tracking, compliance escalation management, key performance measures and metric tracking). Business Operations Specialists may also provide their expertise and advanced skills to resolve complex issues related to the appropriate office requirements and practice changes to support administration of a specific client's product. The Business Operations Specialist - Innovative Field Solutions demonstrate leadership skills to coach and mentor others within their peer group and exhibits a very high level of expertise with an expectation they can speak to C-Suite staff (Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Office, Chief Financial Officer, Pharmacy Directors, and other facility decision makers) and engage with client's home office staff. What your background should look like EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Experience directly related and progressively responsible in a medical practice, private or third party reimbursement arena, or pharmaceutical industry in sales, managed care, or clinical support. Experience within healthcare provider support such as a physician practice, patient assistance program or similar pharmaceutical/biological support program experience preferred. Specific knowledge of local payer policies related to a specific client product will be acquired during training sessions. All interactions with allied health professionals require detailed attention to customer needs and satisfaction. And most importantly, all reimbursement activities are required to be conducted and managed within all appropriate legal and regulatory guidelines and require continuous monitoring of compliance with such guidelines and laws. This position may require credentialing for specific facilities. This process includes passing limited medical examinations and may include some vaccinations and documentation review. The employee will work from home and maintain a home office. The employee will travel across the United States for presentations and client meetings and will not have a defined territory. Travel may be four to five days per week.
