What you will be doing

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1 Inventory item master data creation change and deletion. (Bulk, Finish Goods, Components and other items as needed)

2 Inventory item routing creating, change and deletion.

3 Inventory item stockroom creating, change and deletion.

4 Prepare analysis of closed work orders and investigate and report on significant production variances.

5 Prepare month end standard production journal entries, inventory analyses, variance analyses, account reconciliations and monthly inventory reserve analyses.

6 Audit start-up of new products including bill of material, routes, EOQ lot size and standard product cost.

7 Ensure changes to active bills of materials and routes are properly rolled up into finished goods standard elemental costs for material, labor, and overhead.

8 Responsible for maintaining standard cost changes including preparing supplier debit memorandum for shelf stock adjustment and inventory appreciation recognition and schedule.

9 Assist with the year-end DEA physical inventory count.

10 Responsible maintaining supplier and AHP product recalls data including preparing supplier debit memorandum.

11 Cross trained on Sr. Manager, Cost Management and Cost Inventory Accountant duties.

12 Performs related duties as assigned.

What your background should look like

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting is required. Minimum of three + years of accounting experience is required. Must have experience with automated accounting systems, preferably with fully integrated ERP packages.

MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

Requires strong financial analysis skills and ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. A/S 400 and Query 400 experience helpful. Requires excellent written and interpersonal skills. Must have strong Excel skill set.
