Our Downtown Cleveland, Ohio Food Manufacturing Factory is seeking an experienced and skilled Machine Operator who can work independently to support factory packaging needs.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

* Set up and staging of materials for machine operation.
* Operation of equipment within company established rates.
* Cleaning and sanitation of equipment.
* Moving materials throughout the plant and staging production areas.
* Maintain the stacking areas and stacking for up to 4 to 5 lines.
* Rotate jobs to cover for anticipated absences.
* Perform all job duties in accordance with the company's safety and quality guidelines.
* Complete all required documentation and system transactions.
* Use all personal protective gear per company guidelines.
* Assure timely cleaning and sanitation of all equipment and assure absence of down time.
* Dispose of trash and cleans work area thoroughly.
* Remove any unused product, boxes and utensils and assure clear and clean work area.
* Complete all jobs in any area as assigned by supervisors.
* Participation on factory teams.

Qualifications:
* Prior exposure to manufacturing desired, preferably the food or beverage industry with knowledge of GMPs
* Proficient with computer use; familiar with SAP and standard Microsoft Office Software
* Demonstrated sense of urgency and comfort working in a fast pace environment
* Ability to work independently or with a team with excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with other team members.
* Willingness and ability to work with minimal temperature control, exposed to local temperature variations (hold & cold)
* Ability to work safely and multi-task in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment
* Ability to move/lift 50 lbs various times, basic math, and reading skills
