Workplace: On-site Job Summary Assists with the detailed loan processing and disbursement and/or funding of all Real Estate Loans. Essential Job Functions Processes new real estate loan requests. The process includes contacting applicants, obtaining a multitude of required documents pertaining to the borrower(s) and property, and submits completed loan packages to underwriting. Is the primary point of contact for the member from the submission of an application until it is assigned to a Real Estate Loan officer. Prepares required disclosures for Real Estate Loan Officer review, and obtains additional requested verification documents. Verifies signed loan disclosures for accuracy and completion, processing the disbursement of loans ensuring proper funds have been allocated to the necessary general ledger accounts, member accounts, title/escrow accounts or that necessary checks have been properly issued. Task completion for Folio or internal automatic payment set up along with other necessary servicing requests completed during the closing process. Assist members with real estate loan inquiries and transactions. Requests may encompass all loan products offered by the Credit Union. Handles all Demand for Payoff requests timely, closes Home Equity Line of Credit Limits, and properly archives demand and supporting documents. Completes loan payoff transactions and prepares documentation required for Reconveyance. Coordinates and processes requests for Subordination or Mortgage for underwriter review. Coordinates internal notarization of various real estate related documents. Obtains and tracks insurance coverage for all real estate loans. Handles the shipping/receiving of loan packages for all real estate loans. Performs other duties as assigned. Physical Actions This role, whether performed virtually or in an office setting, will include normal and customary distractions, noise, and interruptions. Sits or stands for extended periods of time, up to a full work shift. Occasionally reaches overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Occasionally moves, lifts, carries, and places objects and supplies weighing 0-10 pounds without assistance. Listens to, interprets, and differentiates auditory information (example others speaking) at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Visually verifies and reads information. Visually locates material, resources and other objects. Ability to continuously operate a computer for extended periods of time, up to a full work shift. Physical dexterity sufficient to use hands, arms, and shoulders repetitively to operate keyboard and other office equipment up to a full work shift. Education Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent required. Experience Requirements One year of experience in real estate mortgage processing environment.
