Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy began as a grassroots advocate to turn 85 acres of abandoned waterfront into what is now the world-class Brooklyn Bridge Park. As the Park’s chief programming partner, the Conservancy welcomes more than 130,000 visitors across 500 free and low-cost environmental education, recreation, and arts and culture programs. The Conservancy is seeking a talented, versatile, mission-driven individual to join our team as a full-time Individual Giving Manager. This position will join a four-member development team and play a key, strategic role in helping it deepen its fundraising efforts. Reporting to the Senior Director of Development, the Individual Giving Manager will be responsible for growing and retaining a portfolio of mid-level and membership donors through targeted stewardship activities and solicitations.
Core Responsibilities
Qualifications
The Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. Individuals of color, women, people with disabilities, immigrants, veterans, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer people, and those with lived experiences are strongly encouraged to apply. Job descriptions are wish lists that are rarely completely fulfilled, even by the successful candidate. Often women, trans, non-binary, gender non-conforming and BIPOC candidates are less likely to apply for jobs unless they believe they meet every one of the qualifications as described in a job description. Don’t hesitate to apply even if you don’t check every box. You can be right for the job even if you’re missing a bullet point or two, and you can have important skills we haven’t thought of that would make you a compelling candidate. |
