Essential Functions:

• Assembles and package parts following verbal instructions and written procedures/routings/blueprints

• Perform required quality checks

• Sets-up and operates line equipment

• Completes paperwork such as scrap sheets, logs, data gathering, first/last piece inspection report

• Maintains cleanliness and safety in work area

• Participates in continuous improvement efforts

• Trains other employees

• Use hand and power tools in assembly process

• Use computer for production related functions

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Combination of education and experience, generally acquired through the attainment of a high school diploma or general equivalency diploma and prior work experience. Outside applicants must pass aptitude test as part of the recruitment process.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate ability to:

• Follow written or oral instructions

• Read and understand blueprints/prints

• Use hand and power tools

• Understand basic math principles

• Use measuring equipment such as gages, calipers, indicators, scales, and tape measures

• Communicate effectively orally and in writing

• Use a computer to enter data and obtain data

• Work with and around chemicals and other materials, having exposures within acceptable limits

• Work in a team environment toward a common goal

• React to change productively and handle other tasks as assigned

• Participation in daily tier meetings and continuous improvement efforts

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. on a regular basis. Stand, walk, bend/reach, and grip with hands on a frequent basis. Sit occasionally
