Konica Minolta currently has an exciting opportunity for a Government MIT Solutions (Managed Information Technology) Consultant

The Government MIT Solutions Consultant is responsible for the development and delivery of Konica Minolta's MIT solutions and services portfolio to prospects and existing government clients. This role works directly with the individuals on the Government Sales and Marketing Team along with a matrix team of technology specialists to understand an agency's strategic business issues then craft and communicate digital transformation strategies.

The Government MIT Solutions Consultant will participate in the entire agency engagement cycle. Activities include, but are not limited to: Opportunity identification; client consultation; business need assessment; design and development of strategic and innovative MIT proposals and statements of work; and, monitor/manage implementation processes to deliver agency success.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Public Sector Team to research and identify opportunities within our IT portfolio
  • Generate demand through initial communication, presentations, engagements and proposals leading to new revenue opportunity within existing and prospective government agencies
  • Identify new possibilities for differentiation and business growth
  • Be the technical leader and presenter when meeting existing and prospective government agencies to deliver digital transformation messaging and capability
  • Work closely with agencies to identify and understand key pain points and communicate how we can address these issues and provide value
  • Develop and deliver strategic and innovative digital transformation proposals and recommendations
  • Participate in IT-related assessments and the development of Statements of Work and proposals
  • Work directly with technology experts within North America MIT, Konica Minolta and vendor partners to validate the proposed solutions
  • Develop and deliver training to the Public Sector Team and other groups regarding current technology trends, and new service offerings
  • Liaison to and collaborate with North America MIT experts to facilitate execution of post sales activities
  • Provide leadership and oversight to client MIT solution delivery

Qualifications

  • Strong IT and technology knowledge base with a solid understanding of North America MIT service offerings (or equivalent)
  • Experience working with Senior Level and C-Level positions with the Federal and/or State, Local and Education verticals
  • Demonstrated experience in consultancy and or advisor role in the enterprise or global space in technologies including but not limited to Service Desk, Offensive Security, TEM, ITAM and ITAD
  • Strong interpersonal , collaboration, leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • 2+ years working in enterprise MIT environment
  • 5+ years' experience in a client facing role providing technical assessments and architecting solutions
  • Cloud solutions and/or managed services provider experience is a strong asset
  • Experience developing new assessment offerings and services in a collaborative environment
  • Certifications with ITIL, Cisco, Microsoft and VMware is encouraged
  • Ongoing commitment to professional development and industry certifications
