Assistant Director of Leadership Annual Giving Development Full Time 73194BR Job Summary The assistant director of leadership annual giving is a frontline fundraiser who is responsible for growing the donor pipeline, soliciting gifts, and raising money for UCSF priority areas. The position is a vital member of the annual and special giving (ASG) team. They will use their skills as a volunteer manager and frontline fundraiser to work with volunteer leaders, reunion classes, and leadership prospects to craft highly personalized and targeted fundraising campaigns. They will work with a portfolio of more than 800 alumni who are currently not managed by a relationship manager and who have given $1,000 to $50,000 in the last 5 years. Please note: The compensation ranges listed online for roles not covered by a bargaining unit agreement are very wide, however a job offer will typically fall in the range of 80% - 120% of the established mid-point. An offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate AND the current salary level of individuals working at UCSF in a similar role. For roles covered by a bargaining unit agreement, there will be specific rules about where a new hire would be placed on the range. To learn more about the benefits of working at UCSF, including total compensation, please visit: Department Description The UCSF Foundation and the Office of University Development and Alumni Relations (UDAR) are responsible for fostering and strengthening the campus outreach efforts to UCSF constituents and for garnering private support for the campus and the Medical Center. In raising private support, UDAR identifies, qualifies, solicits and stewards donors for the schools, medical centers, departments and programs on campus; accepts and administers all private gifts to the university through The Regents or the UCSF Foundation; and manages all alumni relations activities, campus support group activities and campus events. The UDAR office staffs the UCSF Foundation. The office is also responsible for the design and implementation of fundraising campaigns for UCSF. Required Qualifications
