We’re seeking a Director of Client Services to step into a critical role at our advertising agency. This position comes with a wide set of responsibilities related to developing the account services team and partnering with clients to execute campaigns and achieve goals.

This position is a good fit for someone with extensive agency experience. Our selected candidate will lead a dedicated, disciplined account services team. And while we consider our operations and deliverables to be first rate, we strive for continual improvement and look forward to the ideas this new leader will bring to our team. Our last Director of Client Services was promoted within the agency – so she will be championing your efforts.

Our team works from our downtown Indianapolis office Monday-Thursday and enjoys work-from-anywhere (your long-weekend destination, favorite coffee shop, the sunny spot on your back porch, etc.) Fridays when possible.

Department Management Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain partnerships with all Williams Randall clients – contributing to strategy development and planning as needed
  • Mentor, train and develop account service team in strategic, tactical and relationship aspects of their jobs
  • Meet monthly with account service team and controller to review client and project profitability
  • Work with account service team to maintain and improve standard processes for account service
  • Oversee quality of client deliverables such as plans, creative briefs and proposals
  • Lead annual reviews for direct reports and hiring efforts for new account service staff
  • Work with account executives to report on monthly revenue projections
  • Establish annual agency revenue goals

Account Services Duties and Responsibilities for Assigned Clients:

  • Day-to-day project communications with assigned clients and internal team
  • Meet regularly with creative, media, research, analytics, and online teams to coordinate agency efforts on behalf of assigned accounts
  • Orchestrate planning for clients and manage the implementation of those plans
  • Scope and estimate project work
  • Work with analytics and media managers to include testing, tracking and measurement for all campaigns; recommend modifications based on results

Agency Growth:

  • Participate in new business pitches, as needed
  • Contribute to determining profile and process for identifying qualified prospects based on sustainable agency growth goals
