What You Will Do:

Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with Analytics, IT, and business teams to build and improve Power BI data models, data flows and Datamart's that feed dashboards, increasing data accessibility, and fostering data-driven decision making across the organization.

2. Build and implement scalable solutions that align to our data governance standards and architectural roadmap for Business Intelligence solutions.

3. Design and develop Power BI and Report Builder dashboards and reports

4. Perform data analysis required to troubleshoot data-related issues and assist in the resolution of data issues.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.

Management Experience: N/A

Skills & Abilities:

1) 3+ years of relevant work experience in analytics, business intelligence or related field.

2) Experience with a variety of database technologies (Redshift, Teradata, SQL Server, MariaDB).

3) Significant demonstrable experience with PBI datasets, Datamart's, dataflows and DAX

4) Experience writing and optimizing SQL queries in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets.

5) Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

6) Process oriented with great documentation skills.

7) Experience creating and maintaining Business Objects Universes is a plus

8) Proficient in Python or R and experience and Experience with development methodologies/tools (e.g., Agile, Git, Artifactory, etc.) is a plus.

Travel: May require some travel (approximately 5 days a year)

*Combination of candidate's education and general experience satisfies requirements so long as the total years equate to description's minimum education and general experience years combined (Management experience cannot be substituted).
