Our purpose is to provide job skills training and employment opportunities for disabled veterans and other people with disabilities. Job Purpose: Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition. Perform duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, wiping walls and glass, and cleaning restrooms. Essential Duties and/or Responsibilities: Service, clean, and supply restrooms. Gather and empty trash. Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them. Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures. Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors. Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors. Steam-clean or shampoo carpets. Clean and polish furniture and fixtures. Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment. Experience and Education: No experience necessary (job training) Due to contract requirements, priority will be given to persons with disabilities. $16.20 per hour plus $4.57 for H&W (Health & Welfare) under a Service Contract Agreement
