Job Summary Designs, installs and maintains a variety of state of the art security access/intrusion systems and related components. Areas of specialization include access/intrusion alarms, access control programming, coordinates the work of vendors/contractors as needed. Works on assignments that are varied and complex in nature. Works on other technical systems or projects as needed, such as, Fire/life safety system, closed circuit television and commercial locksmith. Major Job Responsibilities Applies advanced knowledge of sophisticated security systems, such as Hirsch, Lenel access control. Develops and maintains Getty security access/intrusion systems and field devices Responsible for wiring termination and system programming Maintains vendor/contractor relationships and ensures the quality of service provided Manages technical system installation projects Serves as system administrator for local and wide area computer networks and complex operating systems Maintains knowledge of technological advancements and recommends improvements to Getty security systems Qualifications High School/GED Minimum 4-5 years related experience with security systems Certification in area of specialization Advanced training in electronics and computer networks Experience with access controls desired. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Performs advanced support functions Applies advanced knowledge of policies, practices, trends and information May serve as a technical resource to coworkers Able to maintain and configure Servers, workstations, networks, applications and databases Good understanding of LAN and WAN, network switches, IP Address schemes and troubleshooting skills to diagnose network communication problems between PC and edge devices Ability to read, interpret and analyze architectural blueprints and electrical schematics Benefits and Perks Here are just some examples that Getty offers/provides for full-time employees: Medical, Dental and Vision insurance coverage, starting on date of hire.
