Family Stabilization Program Clinician

This position is eligible for American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds which includes a one-time $750 sign-on bonus payable after the completion of 90 days of employment as well as a monthly stipend of up to $694.50 which is based upon the hours worked in the previous month for as long as the funds are guaranteed by the State.

Job Summary
The Clinician in our Family Stabilization Program will be responsible for providing service coordination to children and families in crisis, continued follow through and supervision beyond crisis stage in helping families cope with any issues and find longer term solutions. The Clinician will also be responsible for providing outreach family counseling to clients assigned through community-based services utilizing a variety of treatment interventions, and work as a team with caseworkers.

Responsibilities and Duties
* Conducts initial and follow-up assessments with client and identified family members/caregivers
* Develops, implements, and monitors an ongoing case plan for each family served; coordinate all service components both within the agency and in the community
* Provides community and home-based therapy to help families secure a safe and independent level of functioning
* Treats families dealing with a variety of psychological, emotional, and social challenges and help parents develop healthy coping and parenting skills
* Utilizes home-based strength model to provide a wide range of assistance and resources to families in the process of reunification or to avoid separation
* Schedules and coordinates services with schools, police, health care providers, court systems, and other service providers
* Be available for on-call crisis management
* Accurately maintain client records, completing documentation requirements promptly
* Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills
* Master's degree in social work or a related field of study required
* License eligible (LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, etc.) required; Licensure (LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, etc.) strongly preferred
* Experience with child and adolescent development, abuse, and crisis intervention
* Maintain flexibility in scheduling due to the nature of the workflow and level of responsibility - some evenings and weekends may be required
* Occasional transport of clients in personal vehicle
* Ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities, including documentation, meeting with clients for the required hours each week, attending staff meetings and supervision, and other tasks as assigned
* Bilingual in Spanish preferred
* Organizational and time-management skills
* Ability to communicate and effectively interact with a diverse population.
* Basic computer skills required; knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
* Must have valid driver's license and auto insurance
* Must be able to authorize Child & Family to complete Motor Vehicle Record check
* The ideal candidate will be required to meet all pre-employment requirements such as background checks and medical clearances
