Summary This role includes performing preventive maintenance in the Assembly Shop on electrical and mechanical equipment. The work will be preformed in a high-volume, production environment. Skilled team members should have the ability to work in a diverse team, adjust to the changing needs of a manufacturing environment. STMs should also be able to diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and improve manufacturing equipment. This is a multi-skill job function and will be assigned to 2nd or 3rd shift. Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment using standard and specialized hand/power tools (press, welder, cutting torch, machining, and diagnostic equipment) Troubleshoot, replace and/or repair machine components including cylinders, pumps, motors, spindles, fixtures, slides, valves, gears, switches, control boards, relays, and bearings Perform basic administrative skills including computer data entry and documentation of work performed by written and electronic methods Qualifications Required Minimum of three years industrial maintenance experience or technical education in industrial maintenance or electrical field or a combination of the two. Availability to work any shift and the willingness to work overtime as required - this may include holidays, weekends and plant shutdowns. Up to a 12hr shift is required.
