Summary

This role includes performing preventive maintenance in the Assembly Shop on electrical and mechanical equipment. The work will be preformed in a high-volume, production environment. Skilled team members should have the ability to work in a diverse team, adjust to the changing needs of a manufacturing environment. STMs should also be able to diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and improve manufacturing equipment. This is a multi-skill job function and will be assigned to 2nd or 3rd shift.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment using standard and specialized hand/power tools (press, welder, cutting torch, machining, and diagnostic equipment)
  • Troubleshoot, replace and/or repair machine components including cylinders, pumps, motors, spindles, fixtures, slides, valves, gears, switches, control boards, relays, and bearings
  • Perform basic administrative skills including computer data entry and documentation of work performed by written and electronic methods

Qualifications

Required



  • Minimum of three years industrial maintenance experience or technical education in industrial maintenance or electrical field or a combination of the two.
  • Availability to work any shift and the willingness to work overtime as required - this may include holidays, weekends and plant shutdowns. Up to a 12hr shift is required.
