Must be able to assist the surgical team in accomplishing the plan of surgical care Demonstrate knowledge of sterile technique, sterilization procedures, principles of surgical procedures, anatomy and physiology, use and care of surgical instruments and equipment. Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals Understand the surgery schedule workflow and is available to meet the needs for room turnovers, patient transport, and cleaning Qualifications Minimum Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Graduate from a surgical technology program NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist Current BLS
