Job Functions / Responsibilities
Lead and participate in multiple simultaneous engineering efforts for new product development projects:
- Prototype and design mechanical or process solutions to resolve novel manufacturing issues related to new product launch
- Design and document manufacturing processes for new product: SOPs, PFMEAs, control plans, layout studies, cycle time analyses, financial analyses
- Review new product design concepts, 3D models, and drawings for manufacturability
- Implement process changes on time and in budget for new product launch
Qualifications & Skills Required
- Actively Enrolled in a B.S. Degree in Engineering (Prefer Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing)
- Proven problem-solving skills
- Excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills
- Proven ability to work in a self-directed environment
- Ability to work within deadlines to achieve goals
Desired
- Experience with 3D CAD Software
- Experience with Microsoft Office Products
- Previous internship or applicable experience in an engineering or automotive opportunity
