This position will report to the Harrisburg, PA Campus.

Job Summary: The JLD Coordinator will identify and develop off-campus part-time, full-time job, and community service opportunities for students while they are enrolled at HACC. Strategic planning will drive this process, seeking JLD-compatible employment community service opportunities close to each campus location.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and at least one year of experience in higher education or community-based organizations, or a similar field required.

Licensing Requirements: Valid Driver's license; Please note that all teaching faculty are required to comply with PA Act 15. You will need to present completed clearances and training certificates at the time of hire. Please visit (and scroll to PA Act 15 Clearances) for more information.

Hiring Range: $22.06-$27.58

Preferred Qualifications:

* Comfortable working in a highly integrated and computerized environment
* Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Job Specific Task List:



  • Development of off-campus jobs and management of employer contracts, site evaluation, student employment records and correspondence, and billing. - (Essential)
  • Assist the AD of Employer Partnership with building and maintaining relationships with local employers that provide employment and community service opportunities to HACC students - (Essential)
  • Assist Employers and students with navigating College Central Network. - (Essential)
  • Coordinate data collection to assist the AD with the submission of the annual report to the federal government on the number of students for whom positions were located, including student earnings. - (Essential)
  • Support with mini internships and on and off-campus Career Development Workshops - (Essential)
  • Support with mini internships and on and off-campus Career Development Workshops - (Essential)
  • Coordinate with Human Resources and Payroll to ensure that student payroll information is accurate and students are paid appropriately. - (Essential)
  • Other duties as assigned - (Standard)


Job Type: Part-Time (less than 1,000 hours)

If part time, hours per week: Up to 28
