Quality Supervisor

We are currently seeking a Quality Supervisor with the below qualifications:

Professional Attributes



  • Manage time off requests and unexpected no-show situations
  • Document and communicate situations when disciplinary action is necessary (tardiness, time theft, safety violations etc.)
  • Set performance goals for individual employees and teams each shift
  • Ensure goals are met through collection of daily production/quality planning and production/quality results
  • Participate in weekly management meetings to discuss goals, progress, and any issues in need of resolution
  • Maintain a work environment that encourages compliance with safety laws and adhere to the Company's quality policy and objectives
  • Quality of all product run/shipped (zero defects to customers)
  • Overall Customer Satisfaction: Quality, Delivery, Responsiveness
  • 100% On-time delivery of all inspections as required
  • Meet scheduled hours and dates of all tasks, with the goal of completing tasks ahead of schedule
  • Utilize machinery & prioritize equipment usage to obtain the quickest lead times
  • Assist in the development and execution of validation structure and procedure
  • Maintain an attitude of Continuous Improvement. Make suggestions for improvements
  • Maintain a department that is neat, organized, and clean at all times
  • Goal is a self-sustaining department to meet all requirements of your internal customer at Westfall Technik
  • Adjust schedule as needed within the department to maximize output and reduce lead times
  • Be the Lead person in the department. First point of contact for ALL department questions
  • Coordinate all production / sample run start up inspections
  • Inspect and Audit product quality as required (Quality Control) Samplings and Production
  • MRB Review and trend analysis of nonconforming products
  • Assist with Quality Procedure Development as required
  • All Quality of work to the satisfaction of the internal customer (Quality department) & Westfall Engineering guidelines
  • Feedback on specific ways to improve lead times (information, equipment, software, training etc.)
  • Provide feedback to Quality Manager on team members development and training needs
  • Assist CMM Metrologist and Quality Specialists where needed
  • Manage calibration schedule and verification of completion
  • Drive Quality department changes, updates and improvement implementations as developed by the team and approved by the Quality Manager


Desired Skills and Experience

Education and Experience:



  • High School Diploma required
  • Minimum 5 year's working in Manufacturing
  • Minimum 5 year's working in Quality
  • Minimum 2 year's in a leadership position
  • Advanced degree a plus
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and organizational abilities
  • Ability to promote a Team atmosphere and demonstrate ability to lead a team to complete tasks on time and more
  • Ability and knowledge to operate all inspection equipment in the department
