Position Summary The History program at Allan Hancock College is seeking for a part-time instructor to teach Ethnic Studies/History 121 - African American History at the Santa Maria campus on Monday and Wednesday from 9:30 - 10:50 am for the spring 2024 semester. Future classes may be taught at the Santa Maria campus or the Lompoc Valley Center, and could be a day or evening classes. Please note that this is not a remote position. Essential Functions and Qualifications * Provide instruction in accordance with established curriculum and course outlines. * Maintain appropriate standards of professional conduct and ethics. * Maintain current knowledge in the subject matter areas. * Fulfill professional responsibilities of a part-time/temporary faculty member. * Teach all scheduled classes. * Maintain accurate records. * Assignments may include day, evening, or weekend classes.
