Vesta, Inc. is a not for profit, financially sound, mental health company which is expanding throughout the Maryland area. Vesta, Inc. provides comprehensive behavioral healthcare to include clinic, day program, and residential homes for those suffering from mental health disorders.

* $5,000 Sign-on bonus for Full-Time Availability*

Vesta, Inc is seeking a Bilingual Mental Health Therapist to provide clinical services at our Silver Spring Outpatient Mental Health Clinic. Vesta serves individuals who are suffering from a wide range of diagnosis including severe mental illness. Service provided would be individual, family, and group therapy as well as treatment planning and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure that consumers in our clinic are receiving quality mental health care.
Flexible hours for the position are Monday through Saturday, with at least 2 afternoons and 2 evenings per week. Hybrid work schedule available.

Applicants MUST be licensed in the state of Maryland to provide mental health services (LGPC, LCPC, LGSW, LCSW-C, LGMFT, LCMFT, APRN). Supervision will be provided for graduate level candidates. Current/recently graduated social work and counseling interns are encouraged to apply!
Responsibilities:


  • Provides individual and/or group sessions and social casework for residents/clients and their families.
  • Serves as a member of the treatment team, working with other disciplines in diagnosing problems, formulating treatment plans, and evaluating progress.
  • Provides necessary social work treatment in accordance with medical treatment plans and modifies these plans to further therapeutic goals.
  • Prepares socio-psychiatric case history information, psychosocial assessment, and social work treatment plans, for use in pre-admission screening and diagnosis.
  • Knowledge of child-centered play therapy; hypnosis and brief psychotherapy; grief and loss issues in play therapy for children; relationship enhancement therapy with couples and families; Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT); and Reality Therapy.
  • Ability to provide clinical supervision preferred but not required (LCSW-C and LCPC).

Therapists are fee-for-service and are paid based on a monthly invoice.
Some positions may instead be considered as salary positions:
LGPC, LMSW: $58.990 - $66.069 p/y

LCPC, LCMFT: $61,721 - $69,128 p/y

LCSW: $64,452 - $72,187 p/y

This position will have flexibility with working from home and in the office (hybrid position).
