Summary



  • Position Summary



    • The cardiac sonographer is responsible for performing ultrasound exams to assist the Cardiologists in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. He/she promotes patient safety, assists Cardiologists in procedures, and maintains ultrasound equipment according to manual. The cardiac sonographer shares on-call responsibility. The sonographer will assist with EKG/Treadmill duties as needed.




  • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)



    • Education: N/A.


    • License/Certifications: Must possess ARDMS or CCI registry in cardiac specialty (RDCS or RCS) within one year of hire. Valid Maine Driver's license.


    • Experience: N/A.


    • Active telephone.
