Associate Vice President, Spend Executive

Summary:

In this role, you will serve as the point person for Vizient's key accounts and have direct impact on the satisfaction and retention of providers. You will be accountable for the Spend Management Services and Delivery as well as the day-to-day operations of this partnership while leading functional teams or projects. Candidate must live in or around the Chicago market.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, guide and promote strategic supply chain core and custom solution.
  • Lead supply chain efforts to align Vizient Spend Management Strategy to provider goals.
  • Manage and grow existing accounts.
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities.
  • Complete quarterly business reviews with senior executives.
  • Align strategic account needs with Vizient solutions and alternatives to drive growth, value and revenue.
  • Collaborate with Spend Manager and MPP to align spend management objectives and goals to strategic goals of the provider.
  • Accountable for corporate revenue growth goals, provider savings, tracking metrics and linkage between strategic management and Vizient and supplier relationships for members.
  • Act as a leader to on-site teams within provider organizations i.e., for long term engagements supervising custom teams.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • 10 or more years of relevant health care sales experience required.
  • Proven track record in managing large strategic accounts required.
  • Proven success in leading teams required.
  • Experience in solution selling preferred.
  • Must be able to read financial reports and comprehend supply chain and group purchasing processes.
  • Must be proficient with all MS Office Products.
  • Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients' needs and timetables.

Estimated Hiring Range:

$135,200.00 - $201,200.00
