Overview:
Our client, a well know general contractor, is looking to add an experienced Senior Project Manager to their team. The ideal candidate should have experience with Multi-family/Mixed-Use communities and/or Hotel Construction and will be responsible for developing and directing all activities to complete profitable projects on time. This is a long-term, direct hire role with our client located in the Portland Metro area.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Superintendent to keep project on schedule and a positive job margin through project completion.
  • Oversee project team in collaboration with project superintendent.
  • Manage long term relationships with Clients, Architects, and Subcontractors.
  • Review estimates and manage budget.
  • Make sure that contracts are adhered to and responsible for developing and direction all activities to complete profitable projects on time.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Architectural, Construction Management, Engineering, and/or business) or equivalent experience, required.
  • 10+ years Project Management experience Multi-family/Mixed-Use communities and/or Hotel Construction, required.
  • Effective leadership style and management of a professional environment, required.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task while delivering reports and leading meetings.
  • Outstanding organization to be able to maintain sub lists, subcontracts, schedules, change orders, insurance, material procurement, logistics, as-builts, complete submittals and closeout required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience collaborating with staff on all levels.
  • Excels in advanced thinking, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
