Interpret complex accounting standards, rules, and regulations; analyze the implications of the regulations and implement the necessary operations and controls to prepare a consolidated annual financial report. Essential Functions
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field and 7 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting is required. One year of college over the required minimum (Bachelor's Degree) may be substituted for one year of the required experience on a year-for-year basis, allowing up to a maximum of 2 years of substituted experience. Preferred Qualifications
Experienced in implementing accounting systems across highly matrixed organizations that align with highly complex accounting regulations. Working Conditions

The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to a minimum of 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length. A background check will be conducted on candidates under final consideration.
