Summary Receive, store, and issue spare parts and supplies for industrial equipment and facility repair. Maintain a safe, organized, and clean parts rooms. 2nd Shift - 2:30 or 3:00 to 11:00 or 11:30. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Keep parts warehouse clean, organized & uncluttered. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications and Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. Basic computer competency and valid state driver's license required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires a well-rounded and experienced knowledge of the practices, tools, equipment and materials used in assigned skill trade area. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. . Must be able to read, write, and speak English effectively. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to read manuals and understand part and equipment diagrams.
