Position Summary |
Work involves preparing and serving food and cleaning food service areas. Employees work under direct supervision, follow written and/or oral procedures and practices. Employee will implement these procedures, methods, and activities developed by others. |
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies |
Some experience in kitchen work. Possess a valid driver's license.
Skilled in reading, writing, and simple math. Ability to follow written and oral directions. |

Will lift food items, up to 25 pounds, and prolonged standing for food preparation. |

Serve food at the dining hall; set up buffet lines and serve individual plates; interact with customers from young children to senior citizens. |

Clean and sanitize the work area, operate a commercial dishwasher; clean chairs, tables, and service lines; sweep and mop floors; clean windows, baseboards, blinds; walkways and walls of food service building. |
