Typical Day in the Life

A typical day in the life of an Audit Paraprofessional with Eide Bailly might include the following:

    Maintains compliance with project budgets, turnaround times, and deadlines.
  • Ensure timely and accurate performance on assigned projects.
  • May be asked to assist others with general software troubleshooting and usage.
  • Performs miscellaneous faxing, scanning, and copying duties as needed.
  • Analyzes and organizes client data.
  • Performs data entry from client registers.
  • Performs math to checks to ensure numbers foot properly.
  • Inserts fixed assets additions into Creative Solutions software.
  • Prepares drafts of engagement letters.
  • Performs tasks within ProSystems Engagement software including Rolling forward client's binders. Referencing prior year numbers. Inserting documents and trial balances and updating forms.

Who You Are

  • Knowledge of auditing standards and accounting principles.
  • Possess a high level of commitment to detail and data integrity.
  • Strong customer relations skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
  • Ability to work on multiple deadlines by setting priorities with work projects.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and clients.
  • Proficient with computers, Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and using various software.
  • In addition to all of this, you have an Associate's Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience working with accounting procedures required.

Must be authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without visa sponsorship.
