Responsibilities:

* Instruct undergraduate and graduate-level courses in film production, directing, and screenwriting.

* Mentor students throughout their creative journey, from conceptual development to postproduction.

* Engage in ongoing creative activities with the potential to produce impactful new work.

* Guide actors effectively and translate scripts into compelling visual narratives. Expertise in storyboarding and preproduction planning is essential.


Qualifications

* A terminal degree (MFA or Ph.D.) in film production, a related field, or equivalent professional experience in film, television, or media production.

* Extensive understanding of film history, theory, and aesthetics.

* Professional background in film, TV, or media production as director.

* Demonstrated teaching experience at the university level, encompassing directing, acting, screenwriting, and production courses.

* Proficiency in contemporary filming techniques and technologies, including Virtual Production, XR, AI, and CGI.
