Chapman University: Faculty Advancement: Crean College of Health and Behavioral Sciences: Physical Therapy Location Irvine, CA Open Date Jan 03, 2024 Salary Range or Pay Grade $100,000 - $110,000 Description Chapman University invites applications for the position of a non-tenure track, Clinical Assistant Professor for the Department of Physical Therapy in Crean College of Health and Behavioral Sciences. Preference will be given to candidates who can begin immediately. Qualifications The successful candidate will hold a DPT or terminal degree from an accredited program, clinical specialty certification or other evidence of advanced clinical expertise, and licensed or eligible for licensure in California. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated excellence in teaching Anatomy-related content areas in a DPT program, relevant clinical experience, experience in incorporating technology into teaching and professional practice. Applicants must have experience with performing human dissection and must be familiar with microanatomy/histology. Candidates also must be able to apply functional anatomy in a manner that is consistent with physical therapist education and practice. An ability to carry out scholarly activity (as defined by CAPTE criteria), perform professional/academic service, and maintain clinical competency are expected.
