Position Summary The Department of Speech, Language, Hearing Sciences (SLHS) invites applications for a half-time (.5 FTE), benefits-eligible clinical educator position with an expected workload of approximately 20-25 hours per week.The clinical educator will work with our director of clinical education and other clinical educators to provide graduate students in speech-language pathology (SLP) with meaningful experiences that represent the scope of SLP practice.The individual selected will help prepare a diverse student body to meet entry-level competencies for professional practice and must have a strong background in service delivery and culturally responsive care. As the only Hispanic-Serving Institution in Colorado offering a graduate program in speech-language pathology with an optional bilingual specialization, we are committed to providing an inclusive and accessible graduate program. While the nature of this position requires the employee to be on-site and have an outward presence for students, faculty, and staff, there is the ability to complete some work remotely. MSU Denver enrolls over 17,000 students, where nearly 60% are first generation and over 55% are students of color. Salary Range The salary range for this role is $54,000 - $68,000 at a 1FTE. This position is a .5FTE, and the salary range is $27,000 - $34,000. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, training, and qualifications.
