Responsibilities

  • Accountable for greeting and directing patients, visitors and physicians upon their arrival to the department.
  • Demonstrate good telephoneskills and able to assist others in a courteous manner, following up on the caller's needs.
  • Demonstrate the ability to process proper forms, schedule procedures, input and work on the CRT, and coordinate the desk area of the patient care unit.
  • Performs various off unit activities, attends staff meetings, checks routine supplies and equipment and coordinates the repair and maintenance of equipment.
    Responsible for: order entry via the CRT for all physician's orders on patients, general office duties for the unit, phone coordination and conveying overall outstanding customer service.

Qualifications
