Position: Associate Account Manager, Sales
Location: Remote out of Kentucky, Alabama or Tennessee
Position Overview:
This Associate Account Manager position will provide best in class service to our devoted customers by partnering with account managers in developing trusted relationships, taking an active role in business development and managing the territory's distributor network for sales growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Partnering with account manager to formulate business plans and strategies to grow overall distributor sales revenue and market share.
  • Responsible for the successful implementation of commercial business programs, target marketing programs, promotions, training programs, and product launches.
  • Duties are centered on distributor development in conjunction with customer contact at key strategic end-user accounts.
  • Analyze target account requirements with account manager and develop strategic plans to increase market share.
  • Develop and maintain distributor relationships at all levels within the organization.
  • Utilize distribution and CMCO resources to provide the necessary level of technical expertise to the customer.
  • Resolve territory issues involving, marketing, pricing, product, warranties, and product modification (specials).
  • Collect and report trends and strategies of competitors to Sales Leadership.
  • Actively seeks out and participates in both formal and informal training opportunities virtually.
  • Takes an active role in coaching distribution personnel and evaluating their competency in the support of all CMCO brands, products, and services.
  • Provide sales opportunity funnel and sale forecasting input.
  • Assures that CMCO has a consistently high level of distributor capabilities to serve customers in the assigned geography.
  • Differentiates CMCO products and services from competition utilizing product and non-product factors.
  • Other duties, tasks, and responsibilities as assigned by Sales Leadership.

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) required
  • 2+ years' experience in sales and selling
  • Sales and selling through industrial distribution preferred
  • Travel percentage < 50%



Compensation: $51,200 - $61,400 + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in incentive plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
