Project Executive (Multi-Discipline)

The Gilbane Team in Raleigh, North Carolina is seeking an experienced Project Executive with experience in multi-discipline industries of construction!
Some of our key industries in this area are high-rise, life sciences/pharmaceuticals, healthcare, education, and more!

The Project Executive is the on-site representative of the Company responsible for the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of a single complex construction-management project; as well as supervising project teams and mentoring multiple Project Managers and Engineers.

*Direct and supervise work of project administration, project superintendents, and engineers to establish operational priorities and maintain satisfactory relationships with owners, subcontractors, unions, etc.
*Enforce project reporting requirements
*Manage critical issues

*Assume overall accountability for compliance with company procedures and policies related to execution of the project

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

*BS OR MS degree in Engineering or Construction Management
*15+ years in the lead role on Life Science projects valued at $75 million or larger (preferably several notable projects within life science or healthcare sectors)
*Or equivalent combination of education and experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

*Life Science or NC State Construction Office experience preferred

*Strong technical and communication skills are critical
*Ability to work in a team environment
*Leadership and management skills
*Knowledge of Procore, Microsoft Office (preferred)
