The Escrow Administration Specialist II is responsible for specialized processes including but not limited to mortgage insurance, tax/insurance payment processing, bankruptcy and more as it relates to both non-escrow and escrowed accounts. This is an intermediate level job that handles data entry, maintenance and escrow issues and processes with a low to moderate degree of complexity. Duties are to be performed in accordance with all US State and Federal laws/regulations as well as the company's outlined policies and procedures. The target pay range is $ 19.50/hr - $21.00/hr.

What you'll do:



  • Complete all tasks and responsibilities in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Assists with the set-up of FHA/MIP/USDA escrow lines and the processing of bulk wire transfers to disburse premiums for applicable accounts.
  • Communicates with FHA/PMI/USDA vendors to obtain information, research issues, and respond to customer service inquiries as needed.
  • Review and process escrow setup and cancellation requests based on company and investor requirements
  • Compile, review and process various exception, compliance and escrow related reports
  • Review and perform special escrow analyses on loans in active bankruptcy status.
  • Monitor bankruptcy portfolio for compliance, update escrow coding as needed, respond timely and professionally to all bankruptcy related escrow inquiries
  • Review and provide posting instructions to cashiering departments for escrow refund checks.
  • Work closely with external tax, insurance and flood vendors to make additional disbursements as needed, reconcile discrepancies, and remove lock out codes
  • Escalates high level and complex escrow issues to senior staff and/or Team Lead and proposes possible solutions.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Programs (Excel, Teams, & Outlook)
  • Ability to perform that duties and functions of a Specialist I in addition to level II duties.
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic to moderate complex escrow issues and make decisions which have an intermediate impact.
  • Ability to self-motivate and work with limited supervision.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize own work schedule on short-term basis (one month)
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide and to record, balance, and check results for accuracy
  • Ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word, communicating orally with others accurately, audibly, and quickly



What you'll need:



  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two to three (2-3) years of banking/finance/mortgage or escrow experience.
  • Previous experience using mortgage loan servicing and loan originating systems (such as FiServ/Sagent, Encompass, SmartWeb, AutoPilot, and OnBase).
