At PosiGen, we are passionate about providing money saving solar and energy efficiency solutions for people of all income levels. We are seeking an equally passionate Director, Pricing, toidentify new pricing strategies and set prices to ensure savings for customers, a reasonable return for PosiGen, and competitiveness in the marketplace. This person will also partner with the business to identify ways to improve the assumptions used to model unit economics, including project-level costs.

This position can be performed remotely in the continental United States. Occasional domestic travel is required.

This position is open to remote candidates legally authorized to work in the United States and residing in the following states: AZ, CA, CT, DC, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, LA, MA, MD, MA, MI, MS, NC, NH, NJ, PA, RI, SC, TN, TX, UT, & VA.

Essential Job Functions



  • Owns pricing for the existing solar lease product and new product offerings in existing and new markets.
  • Designs and implements new pricing models that provide meaningful savings to customers, ensure a reasonable return for PosiGen, and maintain competitiveness in the marketplace.
  • Maintains and advances the unit economics model to accommodate new pricing models, including collecting updated assumptions.
  • Works with the finance team and the rest of the business to identify ways to improve project-level cost tracking.
  • Documents process, people, and platform requirements. Work closely with IT to implement platform enhancements.
  • Supports Sr. Director, Products and Markets, to coordinate new market launches across business functions.

Education/Experience



  • Bachelor's degree required in a field that includes quantitative coursework.
  • 3+ years experience pricing/strategy product experience in solar required.
  • 7+ years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, or other financially-focused roles.
  • Previous experience in residential or commercial solar development and financing strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to create operating plans, analytic models, and strategic management recommendations, and execute upon such.
  • Strong spreadsheet and presentation skills.

Base Salary
$155,000 $165,000 USD
