Location: 30 Columbia Street, Poughkeepsie, NY

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Support the pharmacist to prepare sterile pharmaceutical products, including intravenous medications, under strict aseptic conditions to ensure patient safe
  • Follow Protocols and Guidelines: Adhere to established protocols, standard operating procedures, and regulatory guidelines to maintain the highest standards of sterility and quality in compounding medications
  • Maintain Cleanroom Environment: Work in a controlled and sterile environment, such as a cleanroom, to minimize the risk of contamination during the compounding process
  • Perform other work as needed to support the infusion center

Required Qualifications:



  • High School diploma/GED (or higher)
  • 2+ years of pharmacy technician experience (including retail or hospital)
  • 2+ years of general knowledge of drug terminology, pharmaceutical calculations, drug use, and aseptic technique
  • 1+ years of sterile compounding experience OR ability to complete training course after hire
  • Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Previous oncology experience
  • Previous hospital experience
  • National Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB)


New York Residents Only: The salary range for New York residents is $16.00 to $28.27 per hour.
