Description Lutheran Social Services of WI & Upper MI is accepting applications for an Adult Residential Support Professional at Wazee in Black River Falls. Wazee House is a 12-bed residential facility for men referred by the Department of Corrections who have a history of substance abuse disorders. The program provides gender-specific substance abuse treatment services, evidence-based programming to address criminogenic needs, as well as individual/family counseling services. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: A High School Diploma or GED Equivalency is required for the position. Related experience or credits toward a bachelor's degree from an accredited college in social work, human services, psychology or similar major is required. One year of work experience in crisis or mental health preferred. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: The incumbent of this position must have a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation to perform the essential duties of the role; a motor vehicle check (MVR) with a satisfactory driving record per the LSS Driver Safety Procedure is required, and ability to meet LSS auto insurance requirements. TRAVEL: Ability to travel on day trips as required up to 25-50%, depending on specific role. This is a continuous posting sometimes referred to as an 'evergreen'.
