Staff Research Associate MED-CORE-GAST-GEN Full Time 77285BR Job Summary The Lynch lab is seeking a Research Assistant to join the team and contribute to new and ongoing projects and to management of the laboratory. The Lynch lab is focused on human microbiome research, with a particular interest in accelerating discovery and translation in the fields of early life microbiome and therapeutic development. The lab supports multiple collaborative human microbiome research with collaborators across the country. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. The division has a longstanding reputation for excellence in hepatology research and has a growing investigative program in luminal gastroenterology. Faculty in the Division of Gastroenterology contribute to discovery in several areas, ranging from the identification of basic mechanisms of GI disease, to the improvement of outcomes following liver transplantation, to the optimization of GI care in resource-poor settings. The division also provides comprehensive training in GI research through its postdoctoral programs. Required Qualifications
