Michelin is hiring! We are looking for an IT infrastructure professional who is passionate about data centers to join our company and be a key player of our IT team.

Overview

The scope of this role is our confidential data center in the Americas with shared responsibility for our high performance computing clusters in central France.

This is a dual focused role, with requirements on build (Projects) and run (Operations)

You will work with advanced innovation visualization, automation and confidential projects. What you will do

Manage and maintain Linux and Windows server environments..

Use ITIL as a framework for managing incidents, requests, changes, and problems.

Practice the highest security measures to safeguard D1 confidential systems and data.

Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in the environment (procedural and technical).

Design innovative solutions and support the work breakdown structure WBS.

Produce and maintain the required documentation and technical writing for support and operations when required.

What you will bring:

Proficiency in LNX and Windows system administration.

Proficiency in virtualization technologies.

Understanding of key networking concepts, principles, and protocols.

Understanding of scripting languages for automation tasks.

Advanced skills: Problem solving, Communication, Time management, Team work

Requirements:

• B.Sc. degree or equivalent experience in computer science or related field.
• Experience working with production equipment is preferred.
• MCSE / RHCE Certifications a plus.
• Specifical technical requirements: Ansible, ESX.
• Position subject to ITAR protections.
• 100% on site.
