Job Summary: As a Network Solution Architect you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network solutions that meet the business needs of the organization. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to understand requirements, assessing existing network infrastructure, and recommending strategic solutions to enhance network performance, security, and scalability. Working beside Tier 1 and Tier 2 engineers to deliver the technology designs you create.

Key Responsibilities:

Designing end-to-end network solutions based on business requirements, industry best practices, and emerging technologies. Developing detailed network architecture diagrams, documentation, and technical specifications as well as high level diagrams and supporting documentation. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of network solutions with overall IT strategy and business objectives. Evaluating and selecting networking hardware, software, and third-party services/vendors. Leading projects involving network infrastructure components, including route, switch, firewall, load balancer, and remote connectivity technologies. Including Software-Defined Cloud Interconnect and WAN technologies (SDCI & SDWAN), Zero Trust Networking (ZTNA), Web Application Firewalls (WAF), Elastic Load Balancing (ELB), and Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), and Network Visibility Conducting network performance monitoring, analysis, and optimization to ensure reliability, availability, and scalability. Providing technical guidance and support to network engineers and other IT staff. Participating in the resolution of complex network issues and incidents, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis. Staying abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and security threats to inform network architecture decisions. Contributing to the development of network-related policies, procedures, and standards. Advancing organizational initiatives to transform infrastructure deployment and management using infrastructure as code, automated and self-service designs. Enhancing operational efficiency and reliability by integrating network solutions with prevalent automation and orchestration platforms.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a network architect, and engineer, or similar roles in designing and implementing enterprise-scale network solutions. In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, technologies, and standards. Strong proficiency in network security principles and practices. Experience with software-defined networking technologies and cloud networking service offerings (e.g., AWS, Azure). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred experience with industry-standard automation and orchestration tools, including but not limited to Terraform, Git, GitHub, CodeCommit, and CodePipeline, demonstrating a general understanding of configuration repositories, deployment pipelines, and infrastructure as code practices.
