Job Summary |
The C
ollege of Education is in search of two (2) student workers to assist with the clean out and organization of C&T departmental spaces, and to complete special projects as needed under the supervision of a department member.
Recruitment for the period between May 16, 2024, and June 15, 2024
This will include inventory, cleanout, surplus, organization, and storage of files, supplies and furnishings currently located within the Department of Curriculum and Teaching. Dispose of inferior and/or obsolete valueless items currently located within the Department of Curriculum and Teaching. Scanning, saving, and shredding of files. Special projects as needed.
The Departmental Space Cleanout and Organization tasks listed below may or may not be all inclusive:
- Perform inventory of various offices, classrooms, supply rooms, and other common area spaces
- Move and lift objects of less than 25 lbs
- With assistance move or lift objects of 50 lbs or less
- Pack items for moving
- Scanning
- Saving scans to Cloud files as needed
- Shredding of files
- Organization of C&T rooms
- Cleanup of common area spaces

Essential Functions |
- Bending, Lifting, Pushing, Packing, Moving, Standing, Walking, Sitting, Filing, Scanning, Shredding, Counting and Listing of Supplies, Files, and Furnishings.
- Assisting with special projects as needed.

Minimum Qualifications |
Education and Experience:
- Enrolled as an Auburn University undergraduate student.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and move up to 25 lbs without assistance, lift/move with assistance up to 50 lbs.
- Bend, Stand, Stack, Pack, Push, and Sit for possible lengthy times.
