General Information: This assistantship works within Student Leadership and Involvement. This specific position supports leadership programming for JMU students. As a part of Student Life, we foster belonging through the personal growth and development of anengaged citizenry by providing inclusive experiences and spaces. Duties and Responsibilities: Students who participate in this experience will gain understanding of student affairs as a profession and the influence student affairs has on contemporary higher education through the following tasks and activities: Qualifications: Applicants must meet the conditions of employment as listed. Conditions of Employment: Students may apply to a graduate assistantship prior to being accepted into a graduate program. However, to be eligible to receive an assistantship upon entry into a graduate program, the following criteria must be met: Additional Posting Information: This assistantship is for 20 hours per week. Occasional evening and weekend work required.
